1. Who we are
Learning Oasis (“we”, “us”) is a study abroad consultancy serving Indian students. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our website, contact us or use our services.
2. Information we collect
We collect:
- Details you give us: your name, mobile number and email address, and anything you share in counselling, on WhatsApp or by email, such as your course interests, marks and budget.
- Details collected automatically: the page you sent a form from, the date and time, your IP address, and basic browser and device information.
- Documents you choose to share for applications, visas or loans, such as academic records, ID and financial documents.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and call you.
- To provide counselling, shortlisting, application, visa, test-preparation and loan guidance.
- To contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email about your enquiry and services.
- To keep our website secure and improve it.
- To meet legal requirements.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We store small items in your browser, for example your cookie choice, whether a pop-up has already been shown, and whether you have already sent an enquiry.
Our pages also load content from other services, such as Google Fonts (fonts), Unsplash (photos) and Google’s favicon service (university and bank logos). When you click our WhatsApp button, you move to WhatsApp. These services may receive your IP address and browser details and handle them under their own policies. We also use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site (for example which pages are viewed and which buttons are tapped). If you tap “Accept all” in the cookie banner, we may also use Google’s advertising tools to show relevant ads and measure them. If you tap “Only essential”, advertising cookies stay off and analytics is limited. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
If you reach us through an advertisement, we keep the campaign details from the link (such as the campaign name and ad click ID) in your browser for up to 90 days. If you send us an enquiry, we add them to it so we know which advertisement helped you find us. We do not record what you type in the chat.
5. Who we share it with
We share your details only as needed for what you ask us to do:
- Universities, education partners and lenders involved in your application or loan.
- Service providers who help us run our website, email, messaging and analytics, such as Google.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. After that we delete or anonymise it.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or online service can be completely secure, so please share sensitive documents only with people you trust.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Email us at connect@learningoasis.in and we will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Children
Our website is meant for students and their families. If you are under 18, please involve a parent or guardian when you share your details.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
