FAQ

Common questions

Which test is easiest?

It depends on you. PTE and TOEFL are fully on computer. IELTS has a face-to-face speaking test. Our level check helps you pick the one where you score best.

How long are scores valid?

Usually 2 years. Time your test so your score is valid when you apply and when you apply for your visa.

Is the Duolingo test accepted?

By some universities, but not everywhere, and not for every visa route. Always check your university and country before booking.

Can I take a test at home?

Some tests offer an at-home option, such as the TOEFL iBT Home Edition and the Duolingo test. IELTS and PTE are taken at a test centre.

Do I need a test at all?

Some universities waive it if you studied in an English-medium school. We check this for your shortlist.
