FAQ

Questions about studying in United Kingdom

How long can I stay after my degree?

On the Graduate visa you can stay for 2 years if you apply before 1 January 2027. For applications from 1 January 2027 it is 18 months (3 years for PhD graduates). We help you plan your timeline.

How much money must I show?

For the visa you must show living costs of ยฃ1,529 a month in London or ยฃ1,171 a month outside London, for up to 9 months, plus your tuition. Amounts change, so we confirm them at your counselling.

Which English test do I need?

Most universities accept IELTS, TOEFL or PTE. Some visa routes need a UK-approved test, so we check this for your university.

Can I work while studying?

Yes, usually up to 20 hours a week during term time on a degree course, and full-time in official holidays.

Fees, funds and visa rules change often and depend on your course and profile. Please treat these figures as a guide and confirm them with our counsellors.
